Accommodation

Facilities:

Te Tahawai Marae offers sleeping accommodation for up to 35 people.

Sleeping arrangements are traditional i.e

• Sleeping on mattresses against the wall
• Mattresses, sheets, pillows, and pillowcases are provided.

The kitchen allows for self-catering. It has gas cooktops and electric ovens, a large stainless steel cooking bench and sinks, 2 glass door chillers and a separate small refrigerator.

Crockery, cutlery cooking utensils. Basic preparation trays and bowls and 5 large pots and other smaller pots.

Dining room maximum seating 50 plus Buffet tables

Te Tahawai Marae doesn't cater for large functions due to the proximity to our school and residential properties but is still available for accommodation.

Terms and Condition:

Please note all groups should be cleaned up and ready to leave the Marae before 12 pm on the day of departure. Please note if this is any later, there will be a charge of $200.00.

Cancellations must be made 14 days (about 2 weeks) before your event. A cost of $200.00 will be deducted for administration, and the balance paid by you will be refunded.

Cancellations made after 14 days, no refund.

Early departures are non-refundable.
